Terms of Service
The rules of using the Zelvaria website and server, in plain language.
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to the Zelvaria website and the Zelvaria Minecraft server, together the “Service”. “Zelvaria”, “we” and “us” mean the team that runs the Service, founded by Zhandrexa. “You” means anyone who visits the website or joins the server.
Legal name and address of the operator: to be provided by the owner.
By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
2. Not an official Minecraft product
NOT AN OFFICIAL MINECRAFT PRODUCT. NOT APPROVED BY OR ASSOCIATED WITH MOJANG OR MICROSOFT.
Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB. To play you need a legitimate copy of Minecraft, and your use of Minecraft is also governed by Mojang’s and Microsoft’s own terms, including the Minecraft End User License Agreement. Nothing in these Terms replaces them.
3. Who can use the Service
Anyone may play on the server, subject to these Terms and the server rules. If you are under 18, please read these Terms with a parent or guardian. You need their permission before making any purchase (see the Store Terms) and, once website accounts launch, before creating an account.
The server can be joined directly from Minecraft. A website account or Discord membership is not required to play.
4. Your account and account responsibility
You are responsible for your own accounts and for all actions made under them. This applies to your Minecraft account, your Discord account and, once available, your Zelvaria website account.
- Keep your login details private. Staff will never ask for your password or one-time codes.
- Don’t share, lend, sell or buy accounts.
- Rule breaks made from your account are treated as yours, even if someone else was playing.
- Give accurate details when you link accounts, buy from the store or contact support.
5. Server rules
The server rules are part of these Terms. In summary:
- Respect all players. Harassment, toxicity or abusive behaviour is not allowed in any form.
- No cheating or exploits. Hacks, glitches or unintended mechanics used to gain an advantage are prohibited.
- Fair progression only. Don’t use external tools or unfair methods to bypass progression.
- Roleplay integrity. Stay in character in roleplay zones and respect the lore.
- No griefing or sabotage outside designated PvP systems.
- PvP respect. Fight only where combat is allowed or agreed. No spawn killing or unfair fights.
- Follow staff instructions. Administrators and moderators have final authority in maintaining order.
- No spam or disruption of chat, commands or systems.
- Protect world immersion. Don’t intentionally ruin the RPG experience for others.
The full rules are in the wiki: General rules and Roleplay rules. We may update the rules from time to time.
6. Virtual items and ZCoins
ZCoins (Bronze, Silver and Gold), cosmetics, titles, ranks, land and every other in-game item are part of the game. You receive a limited, personal, revocable licence to use them on the Service. You don’t own them, and they have no real-world monetary value.
We may change, rebalance or remove in-game items and systems to keep the game fair and working, as described in the Store Terms for purchased items.
7. No real-money trading
You may not buy, sell or trade ZCoins, items, accounts, land, services or anything else from the Service for real money or anything of real-world value outside the official Zelvaria store. This includes trades arranged on Discord, social media or marketplaces.
Items and currency obtained through real-money trading may be removed, and the accounts involved may be penalised or banned.
8. Purchases
Everything sold is a cosmetic with no stats or gameplay advantage. Purchases are covered by the Store Terms, which form part of these Terms.
9. Your builds, chat and streams
You keep whatever rights you have in what you create. By building, chatting or posting on the Service you allow us to host, display and keep it as part of the world, and to show it (for example screenshots of builds) when presenting Zelvaria.
You may stream and record your gameplay. If you receive perks for promoting Zelvaria, you must disclose them, as described on the Realmcaster page.
10. Enforcement and appeals
Breaking these Terms or the rules may result in warnings, mutes, removal of items or currency, temporary bans or permanent removal from the realm, depending on severity. Staff decide on the evidence available.
If you think a decision was wrong, you can appeal through Council Support.
11. Availability and changes to the game
We work to keep the Service running, but we provide it “as is” and can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. We may update, reset, change or discontinue parts of the Service, including maps and progression, for maintenance, balance or other reasons. Where a change significantly affects players, we will try to announce it in advance.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Zelvaria is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the loss of virtual items or progress. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited under applicable law, including consumer protection law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page with its effective date, and announce significant changes. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
Proposed: these Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. To be confirmed in legal review.
15. Contact
Questions about these Terms: Contact Council Support.
